BBC costume drama 'Cranford' leads the BAFTA Television Awards shortlist with four nominations.
The show and its stars will contest the categories of Best Serial Drama, the Audience Award and Best Actress, with both Judi Dench and Eileen Atkins nominated in this category.
The other shows nominated for the Audience Award this year are 'The Apprentice', 'Andrew Marr's History of Modern Britain', 'Britain's Got Talent', 'Gavin and Stacey' and 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
Joining Dench and Atkins on the Best Actress shortlist are Gina McKee, for her role in 'The Street', and Kierston Wareing, for her role in 'It's a Free World'.
Also nominated in the Best Drama Serial category, alongside 'Cranford', are 'Britz', 'Five Days' and 'Murphy's Law'.
The nominees for the Best Actor award are Andrew Garfield for 'Boy A', Tom Hardy for 'Stuart: A Life Backwards', Matthew Macfadyen for 'Secret Life' and Antony Sher for 'Primo'.
The shortlist for the Best Continuing Drama award includes 'The Bill', 'EastEnders', 'Emmerdale' and 'Holby City'.
Contesting the award for Best Interactivity Show are 'Big Art Mob', 'Doctor Who Comic', 'Spooks Interactive' and 'The X Factor'.
Nominated for Best Entertainment Programme are 'Britain's Got Talent', 'Harry Hill's TV Burp', 'Have I Got News for You' and 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The nominees for Best Comedy Programme are 'The Armstrong & Miller Show', 'Fonejacker', 'Russell Brand's Ponderland' and 'Star Stories'.
Nominated in the category of Best Entertainment Performance are Simon Amstell for 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks', Alan Carr & Justin Lee Collins for 'The Friday Night Project', Stephen Fry for 'QI' and Harry Hill for 'Harry Hill's TV Burp'.
In the running for the Best Comedy Performance award are Peter Capaldi for 'The Thick of It', James Corden for 'Gavin and Stacey', Stephen Merchant for 'Extras Christmas Special' and David Mitchell for 'Peep Show'.
'Boy A', 'Coming Down the Mountain', 'The Mark of Cain' and 'The Trial of Tony Blair' have been nominated for Best Single Drama.
The nominees for Best Drama Series are 'Life on Mars', 'Rome', 'Skins' and 'The Street'.
In the running for Best International Show are 'Californication', 'Family Guy', 'Heroes' and 'My Name Is Earl'.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the London Palladium on 20 April, broadcast on BBC1.
